"FISH" Program

Gamma Phi Beta prides itself on academic excellence. At Xi Chapter, our average house GPA is consistently above the University of Idaho’s all on-campus women average and the all sorority average. Each year, our chapter wins awards in scholastic and scholarship excellence. Our house academic program is called FISH, standing for Flexible Independent Study Hours. The FISH program promotes strong academics throughout our chapter. Members are given options throughout the week to participate in study tables. Because the program is flexible and can be worked around a member’s schedule, our study table program is very convenient. With this program we have had outstanding results. Our chapter is very consistent; we have been in the top two for sorority GPA's for the past six years.
For the Fall 2011 semester, Gamma Phi Beta surpassed nearly all other greek houses on campus with an overall GPA of 3.2+.
